Short:    Plays MIDI files, v2.20, now with ARexx

MidiPlay 2.20 can play format 0 and 1 MIDI files. It can also print their
contents. This version requires KS 2.04 or greater. This program is giftware.

Changes since v2.11:

The following tooltypes have been removed: SPEAK, NOMON, PLSIZE
Upd  support  has  been dropped.

New features in v2.20:

o ARexx support: MidiPlay recognizes over 60 different ARexx commands
o Playlist window for editing the playlist and selecting from it
o Listview for text events
o lyric window with scrolling lyric
o PATCHCHANNEL feature lets you map events on one channel to another
o VOLUMECHANGE feature lets you increase/decrease volume on any channel
o keyboard shortcuts for volumechange
o with MESSAGEREXX, FILENAMEREXX and FILETYPEREXX parameters you can
  e.g. hear messages and filenames via say command, view text files
  associated with MIDI files or decompress archives and play MIDI files
  in them
o graphical gadgets for play, stop, cont, prev, next and fast forward
o FADE=time defines now the fade out time
o other new tooltypes: LYRICTYPE, PLAY, DIRBUFFER, FORCERESET

Other features:
o grahpical user interface lets you load and play MIDI files easily
o files can be played from the playlist
o loading/saving/removing of the playlist
o time remain/elapsed or current measure/number of measures can be seen
o GM support: program change mapping, drum mapping
o the reset message resets MIDI equipments to the factory setup
o MIDI channels can be muted or soloed
o MIDI events can be transposed
o program change and pitch bender message filter
o external and internal sync
o MIDI merge
