What is does is to take a file that you've just UUEncoded, and it cuts it up in 2000 line blocks. It also gives each block a header and a tail, which proclaim: ----------- Start of block, numbered 1 of 5 files. ----------- And also: ------------ End of block, numbered 1 of 5 files. ------------ Good, eh? Well, I thought so. I realise it may not be the fastest util available, and it *is* pretty inflexable. However, I wrote it simply to perform one task - so I could email people large files with as little effort as possible. Syntax ~~~~~~ Simple! It's just: spluu For example: say you had a file called example.lha.uu, which is is a file called example.lha, which you've already uuencoded. Type: spluu example.lha.uu anything This will result in some files being created with the format: anything.01 anything.02 anything.03 etc... Known Bugs ~~~~~~~~~~ Well, none as yet.
