FixName V1.14 (12-Jan-93) The Legend Continues Even Beyond Your Imagination!!! ;----------------------------------------------------------------------- Version 1.11 Added a 'Smart Character Conversion' switch. If you enable this option Fixname will look after the following characters " .,_-=!" and when it has found one, it will convert the character after that to a large one (Nice Eh!). This option will ONLY be utilized in the -F option. Optimized the code a little bit, perhaps not necessary but have in mind those without expansion memory (THAT was a good one!). ;----------------------------------------------------------------------- Version 1.10 Added after some complains a switch that enables you to specify if it shall do subdirs or not. It defaults to NO subdirs. /Idea by Mats Granstrom. Changed the routine a little bit so you can specify a single file if you want (after some nags from Mats Granstrom). If you want to run this program on the current directory you can type "" for the path. ;----------------------------------------------------------------------- This little utility is not my idea from the beginning. The idea came from Christer Bergstrom 'cause he was so bored about that some files on his harddrive started with a small character instead of a large one. This program is very easy to use. The only thing you have to know is how you want the characters to be and the path where the files are. It's rather self-explaining so just type 'FixName ?' and read. Hope u like this very little utility that is written in 'C'. *********************************************************************** I take NO responsibility if this program fucks up and destroys any important data, it's up to you if you want to use it or not... *********************************************************************** If you want to contact me for Bugreports, Improvements, Glory or something you can reach me at: Fidonet: Mikael Nordlund@2:205/604 See ya later in another creation...
