The program is SCSI-TESTER V1.0. 
  
For the program to work your SCSI controller must support CBM's RDB and 
SCSI-DIRECT commands. 
  
The GVP, CBM, and most others support this. 
  
What the program does is to do a physical test of each and every block on 
your hard drive and to report any errors. 
It will, using scsi-direct commands, read a block of data, then move the 
heads, then re-read the same block of data and then do a compare of that 
data block in memory.  
  
This program is NON-DESTRUCTIVE and only performs reads to the particlar 
SCSI device ID. However, I do NOT do a lock on the partitions on the 
particular SCSI device being tested right now, so it would be suggested 
that this be run without any other disk access to that particular device. 
  
I have tested the program extensively on my system and my brother's A2000 
and have not experienced any bugs, however, I'd like to get it tested on a 
few more machines before I release it publicly. 
  
Any other suggestions you may have for enhancements to the program would 
also be appreciated......
