Contents of PageStream Fonts 5 ------------------------------ This disc contains a collection of Adobe Type 1 Fonts from various electronic sources. Most of these fonts were originally Macintosh format. They are now converted to IBM Type 1 fonts on an Amiga format disc. In this process, I made use of the conversion utility supplied with AMaxII to write the appropriate font files to Amiga formatted discs. These fonts were then converted to the IBM Type 1 font format using utilities supplied with PageStream2.1. Obviously, the fonts are designed for use with PageStream2.1. Please read carefully the requirements of the designers of the fonts supplied, before distributing or making use of these fonts. There is considerable work and expense involved in their production and the requested fees should be paid if you make use of the fonts. AndesitePlain is a beautiful Type 1 display typeface based on Letraset's PLAZA (formerly PLAYBOY). This font has uppercase characters, numerals, punctuation, and accent marks only. There are numerous alternate swash characters for most of the characters (several characters have two alternates). Author: James M. Harris BlackForest Is a font designed without any curves. With one or two exceptions all angles are multiples of 45 degrees. BlackForest has an old world German feel. It seems to look best about 24 points. Author: Printers Devil NewBold A simple bold font with rounded edges. Author: Jim Pearson OSWALDblack A Type 1 font that slightly resemble Adobe's Bodoni. Author: Printers Devil Polo-SemiScript is a display brushstroke font with plenty of swashes. It makes a good specialty font for advertisements when an informal feel is desired. Author: David Rakowski RhyoliteVertical (based on Huxley Vertical) is a Type 1 display typeface in uppercase characters, numerals, and punctuation only. There are alternate characters for the letters A, K, M, N, W, and Y, and they can be found using their lowercase equivalents. It is a display face that looks elegant and distinguished. Author: James M. Harris Rudelsberg This is a Type 1 font in the Art Nouveau vein (turn of the century Germany in this case) and may be thought of as a second cousin to Adobe's Arnold Boecklin font, in that the lower case letters are a little similar, although the upper case characters lack the swashes of Adobe's font. Rudelsberg contains the full set of upper- and lower-case characters, numbers, and some punctuation, but no diacritics. It contains a generous set of kerning pairs, as well. Author: David Rakowski Sharktooth Version 2.00. Black slightly slanted letters with jagged edges accented with white stripes. Author: Peter S. Bryant VarahCaps An ornate font of large black letters on what appears to be a background of stained glass. Author: David Rakowski WindsorDemi A Type 1 font based on the popular Windsor typeface. There is no accompanying documentation. Author: Unknown
