Hi Aaron,

Thanks for making a great editor even better (the ARexx port is great!!!)

I'm having a problem with the REFS command, though. I cannot get the ##offset entry
in dme.refs to work - only the string search for the start of the entry.

This would be fine but I'm using ADLookup and am currently unable to recreate the
index library and the AUTODOCS files have a table of contents entry and the name of
the routine in EXACTLY THE SAME FORMAT :( : :\ :/ :# :%

Does the ##offset format currently work in version 1-60 (c:version returns 1.56).

Also, some suggestions:

1) a SETGEOMETRY X Y W H command would be useful - I wanted a 'cascade' function
but can only resize the window not reposition it via dme commands

2) add $WINCOUNT and $WINID variables; $WINCOUNT is the number of open windows, and
$WINID is the current windows internal ID. Cascade.xdme would use these to loop
through the windows once AND ONLY ONCE!

BTW. can you confirm the correct 'extension' for xdme macros; .dme or .xdme?

I'm also looking into writing a BRIEF emulation .edrc called .edrc_brief. (FYI BRIEF
is one of the better editors on PCs - I use it extensively at work - suppose I could
configure BRIEF to look like XDME! :)

Anyway, when it's complete I'll mail it to you for inclusion with future releases.

Whew! Keep up the good work. The Amiga now has a quality flexible _PD_ :) editor!

Regards
Paul
