Notes about RedWine's pics: -------------------------- The Workbench pic is a snapshot of my 8-color Workbench 3.0 screen. I really like the look of it for only 8 colors. This should serve as an example of how to make a nice Workbench without using a 5-8 plane screen. I worked for a long time getting the colors right, and had to edit a few of the icons to get them to look just right since they began life as the 16-color RDM icons. The IRC pics are an example of what my output looks like. I spend a great deal of time customizing IRC to look like that, and it involves about 10K of startup scripts and a good number of changes to the IRC client source code. The 4-color pic is unaltered. I get the different colors by imbedding VT-100 color control codes in the output. However, the 8-color pic was altered in DPaintIV to give me an idea of how I can further enhance the output. Sure looks nice compared to the standard tty client. :) Enjoy. // Brian J. Cerveny (email: brianc@iastate.edu, IRC: RedWine) \X/ Disclaimer: Silly me, did I really say that?
