Eaters 1.1 1-Jun-92 by Ives Aerts 0.Preface ========= Eaters 1.0 was written by Guido Wegener. Since I'm quite fond of screenhacks I downloaded it a while ago. One of the things that bothered me was that it didn't adjust it's titlebar size to the size of the screen font. Guido was so good to include source code, so I decided to modify it a little. In the end I changed so much that I decided to re-upload this newer version. 1.Changes ========= Things that I changed: · added a tooltype called NUMBER for workbench support. · added a 2.0 command line template. · added custom startup code to reduce the program from 6024 to 2220 bytes. Thanks go to Nico François for this startup code. · eaters now uses LockPubScreen to get the workbench size and to open a window with the right titlebar height. · adapted the code to compile with SAS/C 5.10 · added 2.0 version string (for 2.0 version command) · reduced some overhead And some other little modifications. (see source code) One of the consequences of my changes is that Eaters 1.1 only runs on kickstart 2.0 (V36) or higher. 2.Legal status ============== See the original doc (directory old) for details. I only made some minor modifications to Guido's original program. Maybe someone who knows him can hand him over this new version.
