TDir V2.10 Documentation (quick version) Programm written by PATZ (Stefan Pazourek) in 1995 Explanation of the arguments: DIR/M : list of directories (default: current directory) ALL/S : recursivly enter directories DIRS/S : show only directories PLAIN/S : do not use escape sequences (-> no colored output) SPACE/S : put a separator line between directories SORT/S : sort the directories alphabetically NOSORT/S : don't sort the files PATZ/S : use the 'Patz' font output characters (instead of "+" & "`") currently, newest versions of 'Patz 8&11' and 'PatzTiny 8&11' may be used (use 'setfont' in the shell) NOPREFS/S: dont use the prefs file (ENV:TDir.prefs) STAT/S : show directory statistics (# of dirs/files) HELP/S : shows version and programmers name and a funny message :) NOTE/S : show filenotes of dirs/files By default, TDir sorts the files alphabetically and processes the directories in the order they are encountered. Sorting is done by creating a dynamic heap-structure - look at the source and tell me how to improve it...(this was my first real C prog!) TDir is still under construction, so please send me bug reports & new ideas Stefan Pazourek (PATZ)
