FUNCTION

  A menu item is made under the Customizing title, named 'Save extension'.
When selected, the local writeable settings will be saved under the 'FPL'
directory named ".ext.SETTING.FPL".  This file will be automatically
loaded whenever a file with the same extension is loaded.  Alternative
you can execute the file as a FPL file.
