Sunday 17th September 1995 (C) JIPsoft The causes and effects of the Ball War As we all know, the Ball War started in the year 1885 and lasted to the year 1987. This 102-year war ended when the balls won. The cause of the beginning of the Ball War is, like the causes of many other great catastrophes, human error. What happened was that on the 31st of September in the year 1885 a certain schoolboy of John O'Groats national school was named Harvey. His surname is not known. (This boy later evolved into Harvey, the amazing talking tree, who was known worldwide as a great comedian, until he died and rotted away in the Aberdeen Great Garden 1962.) This Harvey had invented a new ball game, named ball war. The idea was that the ball was used as equipment while humans "battled" against each other, harmlessly enough. Unfortunately Harvey's ball was not so good at hearing. It had difficulty in knowing apart the sounds "b" and "B". It had for a long time (from the year 1765) thought it was a Ball, and now it thought, that the matter in question was a Ball War. So this ball got rid of its owner's control, and started the real Ball War. The Ball War was battled between balls and almost everything else. In the beginning the balls managed very badly, but in the year 1986 they had a great idea. The balls claimed that they were a minority, so in the name of equality they had to have certain privileges, like for example total world domination. The privileges were granted and so the balls gained control. The balls still control the world and humans serve them. That's why we also must respect the balls.
