WHAT IS IT?

                    MAINLY A DOOR FOR EXCELISOR! BBS

  I wanted a way to put random tag lines into users mail & posts that
didn't have to run every time the message was read.
  Tagger will ask if you wish to add a tag line to your message and if
you answer yes it will take a tag from the tagfile (included) and show
you the line then ask if that is the one you want if it is it will write
the text at the end of the message before it saves it, if it's not the
one you want you will be shown another one and another untill you find
one you want.

FILES YOU SHOULD HAVE IN THIS ARCHIVE:

Tagger          - Main Arexx executable
Tagger.docs     - The Docs file you are reading!
tagfile         - A list of Star Trek & other quotes

HOW DO I INSTALL IT?

  It's not too hard as long as you follow these easy steps.

1. Create a directory inside Doors: called Tagger.data.
-----====>      MAKEDIR DOORS:TAGGER.DATA

2. Put the file TAGFILE inside that directory.

3. Put the file TAGGER into your DOORS:

4. Edit the Tagger file and make sure the variables at the top are correct.
    The first one should reflect the path to where you put the tagfile
    file.
    The second is simply the total number of taglines in the tagfile.
    The third is whatever you want it to be usualy your BBS name followed
    by TAG and you can add fancy things around it as well.

5. add the following changes in BBSTEXT:
  
  Make line 1402 of your Languages/English file look like this

    \#0DOORS:TAGGER\  \n2Saving\n1

  Save it, and re-load Languages.


  That's it!  Every time you post/respond it will work!

HOW DO I MAKE CHANGES TO THE TAGFILE?

Pretty simple here as well.  All taglines must be on one line.  And you
MUST change the variable in the Tagger Program to reflect the total number
of lines in the tagfile.

Oh, yeah, This Program is totaly free! You can do what you want with it
all i ask is if you have any ideas to improve it let me know
or if you change it yourself then please send me a copy..

KNOWN BUGS
  May not work on any machine with a 68020+ processor, don't know why
  but it gets to the save stage then crashes, try it on your machine
  as it may just be the A3000 that is the problem and it may work on
  others fine if so please let me know....

HISTORY

  V1.1 Added the ability to put your BBS name TAG to the door also
       fixed the Reading e-mail so it now works as well when you reply
  V1.2 Fixed Responding so now that works as well
  V1.3 Fixed the random so now is truely random (fixed by Albert Cova)
