@NODE Was "What's MultiIndicator ?"

@{b}@{u}What's MultiIndicator ?@{uu}@{ub}

MultiIndicator is an ASC-HEX-Guide-indicator, but you have to remember that
you need AmigaGuide, Multiview or a similar program to indicate Guide-files.

This program is not an indicator for FD-disks, because it
1. is too voluminous,
2. needs OS2.0 or higher,
3. needs more memory as other indicators.

@ENDNODE

@NODE Warum "Why MultiIndicator ?"

@{b}@{u}Why MultiIndicator ?@{uu}@{ub}

Read the following features and @{u}compare@{uu} with other programs !

@{b}1.@{ub} MultiIndicator shows ASC-files (with or without ESC-sequences and Tabs),
    HEX-files and Guide-files (if a external Guideindicator is available).
    MultiIndicator dicides automatically if it uses the ASC-, HEX- or Guide-
    indicator.

@{b}2.@{ub} MultiIndicator passes over ESC-sequences which would impair the output
    on the screen.

@{b}3.@{ub} MultiIndicator can konfigure with Prefs-files, that means you can always
    konfigure MultiIndicator differencly.

@{b}4.@{ub} MultiIndicator opens an AppIcon, if it was started from the Workbench,
    so you can use it when you need it.

@{b}5.@{ub} MultiIndicator shows compressed Guide-files exactly. This is not possible
    if you use Amigaguide or Multiview alone.

@{b}6.@{ub} You can compress and crypt files with XPK. MultiIndicator realizes if a
    file is compressed and crypted, for example you can compress a file with
    SHRI and than crypt that file with FEAL - MultiIndicator realizes this.

@{b}7.@{ub} MultiIndicator has a comfortable printoption, so you needn't an specially
    printutility for ASC-files.

@{b}8.@{ub} MultiIndicator supports the localization under Workbench 2.1.

@{b}9.@{ub} MultiIndicator supports many options of OS 3.x, for example scaleable Gad-
    gets, NewLookMenues, Waitpointer and other.

@{b}10.@{ub} MultiIndicator has a very good help.

These are only the most important features.

Look at the changes in @{"History" link Entwicklung}.
