printppm Đ1993 Stephan Feinen TEMPLATE: printppm PPMFILE/A printppm converts a 24 bit PPM (Portable Pixmap) and sends it directly to a Mitsubishi Color Video Copy Processor CP100E. PPMFILE denotes a 24bit binary PPM (Magic number P6). The ppm format is described in the ppm-package by Jeff Poskanzer. Several public domain programs (including the ppm-package) are able to convert ILBMs to a 24 bit ppm. Some commercial programs (as ImageFX) support the ppm-format too. This procedure will transfer the picture to the videoprinter and print it. This program is included since it is much faster than sending a picture with ppm2prt. You canīt change anything with this program. Itīs just a faster way to print existing ppm-files. If you want to superimpose pictures etc. see ppm2prt.doc Pictures bigger than the defined resolution of the videoprinter will be clipped at the right and/or the bottom.
