Hello, thought that since not many people were call Monty's
Place that I should offer some friendly Sysop advice. Some of
you may not be familar with IceTerm, which is the perfect
sofeware to use on Monty's Place.  Here is a description of
the items you would find in the info file:

Device= (ie Serial.Device) but feel free to experiment
Baud= need I say more
Handshake= (i have mine set to none)
Scritpt=monte's.script ( this is for dialing the vbbs)
Editor= any one of your choice (ed, Memacs)
User (your name )
password= 
Tempdir= ram:t if you wish or a hd1:temp df0:temp what ever
Downdir= Where do you put you downloads?
Emailroot= this could be (hd1:messages)
Messageroot=this could be hd1:messages2 it can't equal the above
Doordir=Hd1:doors
Remember all  the above Names are in CAPITAL LETTERS

Okay hope that makes it a bit easier to call Monty's Place
