Description:
--------------------------
NUV is a program for your CNet BBS, in where the validated users or
special access users can vote on New Users coming into your system.
This helps your board weed out Lamers and so forth. I got this idea
from Celerity bbs software for the IBM.  For Elite boards, this is
a very good utility, but if you are a public board you might make this
utility only for users above a certain level.

Installation:
--------------------------
First, make a directory in Pfiles: called NUV.
Next, Unpack NUV20.lha.
Copy the entire NUV directory into Pfiles:NUV
Now, enter your favorite Text Editor, and load BBSTEXT.
Edit line 1127 so it reads:

#0Pfiles:NUV/NUV_Add}Make a note of these!  You will need them to signon to the system again.n2

Now you may install the main voting program 2 ways:

1st Way
--------
Edit your BBSMENU file, and add this command to the Main Menu,

NV, |#0Pfiles:NUV/Nuv2.0}

and edit your Menus and so forth to say NV=New User Voting.

2nd Way
------

Edit your sys.welcome file and add this command to somewhere in the
login procedure:

#0Pfiles:NUV/Nuv2.0}

Reload your configs...

Don't forget to customize pfiles:NUV/Newuser.txt!

If all works out correctly, you will have New User Voting for every user
who logs on, except for users who have an access level of 1 or below.
Users with access levels of 0 and 1 will receive status reports on the progress
of the voting on their account if they access the program.

Help is also available within the program.

Program:
-------------------

When you start the program, two things can happen:

1. If you have already voted on all of the new users, the program will tell you
   so and exit.

2. If you have not voted on all of them it will tell you how many you haven't
   voted on x new users yet, and ask if you want to vote on them. If you enter
   Y, you will be taken directly to the voting function.
