f1Misc. Empire Game Info c7 Here are some helpful tips about the Empire game. c3o caIf you do not maintain an Active Army (25 Soldiers), you are very likely to get attacked by barbarians. They usually only attack people that they know they can beat. c3o caA strong palace helps protect nobles during a fight. So keep that palace build up, if you plan on fighting. c3o caStarving your People, could cause a serious Empire Revolt. So be cautious if you feed them less than they request. As a means of verifying a tragic mistake, If you enter an amount less than your people or soldiers require, you will get an Are You Sure prompt. This should keep you from missing a zero or something in your input. c3o caIf you are generous in feeding your people, your Empire attracts more immigrants. c3o caIf you do not feed your army enough, they will not fight for you. c3o caWhen your army has been engaged in battle, the investments will not be as profitable as normal. c3o caWhen you are cursed. A wizard should come around about every 3 years, and offer to UnCurse you for a fee. The fee is based on how much longer your Curse is to last. c3o caIn many prompts that present a Yes or No decision such as (Y,n), the letter that is capitalized would be the default if a return is hit. c3o caIn many of the prompts that have L=List, I used L because someone told me they liked single key stroke commands rather than shifted keys such as the ?. Well I was used to the ? before so they are BOTH accepted as the same on many of the prompts (with the exception of where L is list users and ? brings up a menu). c3o caIn another instance of command aliasing, (more than one letter giving similar results) the prompts to Quit (y,N) the letter 'Q' will be taken as 'Yes'. Seems to be a natural instinct to start hitting 'Q' to get out of things! c3o caIf you have really messed up your Empire, you might think of Suicide. It will kill you off, so you can start fresh.
