The tradition soldier to soldier fighting is a good way to attack another
player.  The winner seizes many acres of the losers land.

The way Empire figures out the winner is very involved.  It compares all
the stats of each player.  In different phases of the attack, different 
stats are compared.  Each comparison results in one + or -.  Because there
are so many comparisons, it is unlikely that one player is completely 
dominant over another.

In order to protect your Nobles during a fight, build up your Palace.

The fight is over when a decisive victory is seen.  A decisive victory is
found when one player has killed all the other player's soldiers or serfs
or when a one player has killed 25 more soldiers than the other player.

When the fight is over, the Victorious player seizes some land.  If the
loser has less than 1500 acres and no nobles left they are Executed.  If the 
winner has diplomats, the winner will receive war reparations from the loser.
(War reparations are funds taken from the loser and given to the winner to
help them recover from the war.)
