Dwarves Came to be during the Great Wars.  Metals were needed to fashion 
weapons, and since the Adults were out fighting, Children were forced
to work in the mines.   They were never Allowed to exit the mines, or see
the light of day, for Thier Masters Feared Rebellion. (thier Masters were 
The Elves!).

Due to Working in the mines, thier Growth was Stunted, but thier Muscles Grew
Strong. Eventually They Overthrew thier Elven Lords.

Existing still to this day, is a Inbreed Hatred towards The Elven Folk.
