Congratulations Caller Version 1.0 By "Nightwatch" of "The Road-Side Diner" BBS This works on CNet Pro V3.05c, and could work with older versions. What is congratulations caller? Well, as I was messing about on my BBS, I noticed that I had logged on 200 times. I don't usually check this out, so when I saw this, I was surprised. I thought it would have been a good idea for it to come up and tell me on a specified number of calls, that the system had recieved that many calls. This is exactly what the program was meant to do. After thinking about it, I thought that it would be even better to add a part which gives the user a specific "present" for being that caller, so I coded that too! Configuring the program : The program is quite configurable. I have created it so that you can enter your BBS, Sysop name, amount of time to give to user, and change the colour of the numbers. Please do not edit the rest of the program, although I will allow you to edit the following things : The characters what the big numbers are made out of, Any colour changes, Changing the Add time to Add Bytes. If anybody does change the Add Time to Add Bytes, please could you send me a copy at my Fidonet address 2:2502/129.3 I will then add your name to it under "Updates :" and release it as the next version (1.1 Probably). Version History : Version 0.1 : Initial test version. Suprisingly rather well done. Not completed the coding to check number right, and not coded data file yet. Version 1.0 : Finished and smartened up. Everything works! November 1994
