Welcome to a new release of the Eagleplayer --------------------------------------------- Because of low disk space we could only put the most important files onto this first disk of the Eagleplayer release, that means the Eagleplayer itself, some selected external replayers and Userprograms. For getting all available features you have to install the Eagleplayer on your harddisk. This is done using a commodore installer based script. It isn`t needed to boot your machine from your harddisk but you are advised to do this before you start the installation because the script will then find "devs:", "libs:", "envarc:" etc. automatically and you won`t have to select them anymore. Using the default settings the Eagleplayer requires a lot of memory. To save memory you can delete unused external replayers or userprograms or put them into other directories. (btw: in "Novice" Mode only the Userprograms are installed you are able to use) The other possibility is to use the batch functions (Chapter 4.4 of the Eagleplayer documentation) where only the external player is loaded you really need to play a certain module. Please notice that it could need some time to open the Documentation when trying it to open from this disk, it needs to depacked first. (Better install the Eagleplayer before reading the doc) signed May 1994 Buggs & Eagleeye of DEFECT
