One thing though, it does NOT support any weird module-formats. This could be seen as an advantage because this means it will not eat alot of memory.;-) Some Features: · Great gadtools.library user-interface. · Easy to use. No tricky preferences. · Separate internally multitasking module window. · Separate internally multitasking sample-info window. · Separate internally multitasking preferences window. · Sizeable program and sample-info windows. · Random module-selection. · Hide function. · Workbench menus for full control (when hidden). · Quickstart to get rid of having to create a new program every time. · Own process. · Low memory consuming. About 30k ! · Double buffering. · Small, won't take much room either on your screen or your (hard) disk. · XFD-Decrunching suported. 1.2 Why should I use it ? --------------------------- Beacuse it's fuckin' COOL! Because you are cool. Because you don't like to have a player with 50 files attached to it. Because you want a player that don't eat ALL of you memory. Because it can replay you'r favourite tunes correctly (Unlike some !) 2.1 Known BUGS ! ------------------ Well, really there should be no bugs left to find, but there still seems to be a small bug in the 'program' part, haven't quite figured it out at present, but I sure will ! 2.2 Unknown BUGS !? --------------------- Hmmm... If they are unknown it means I don't know about them. Please send me a note if you find any bugs, and I will try to fix them. Naturally you will get the new bug-fixed version if you enclose a stamped envelope and a disk. 3.1 Requirements. ------------------- Well, this program was written on a plain A1200, and I don't know how it will react on other Amigas, one thing is for sure, it won't run below Kick 2 ! It doesn't need any other external library than 'retools.library' by Nico François. V37++ that is. 3.2 How to install. --------------------- Just copy the file 'AmazePlay' into you'r selected directory and the files 'reqtools.library', 'xfdmaster.library' and the files attached to xfdmaster into your 'LIBS:' directory. 3.3 How To Use. ----------------- Well, not very hard really but I think you should have some help anyway. When first started Amazeplay will try to load it's configuration file called 'S:Amazeplay.Prefs' and it's default program called 'ENVARC:Amazeplay.Program'. If it can't find them, it's no big deal really. A new program is easily created by pressing the 'Program' button in the main window, and after that press the 'Add' button in the Program window that will appear. Select modules by using Shift 'Match' or 'All' in the requester & they will be added to you'r module- list. Now you can save it if you like. To make Amazeplay read this program auto- maticly at startup, save is as 'ENVARC:Amazeplay.Program' and check the 'Read Default Program' option in the prefs window. Now you can select a new module by just double-clicking at the name in the program-window or pressing 'Next' in the main window. A new '.Prefs' file will be created if you select the 'Save' button in the prefs window, after checking all the options you desire. 3.4 Who can Use It? --------------------- Anyone, really, as long as you support me to continue developing this program by sending a nominal SW-Fee and report bugs that you find(if you find any!). History. -------- V1.0 - Aaarghh ! Fuckin' Lame ! Just a lame Kick1.3 version.NEVER Released. V2.0 - Hmmm... Slightly improved with a new 2.0 look and nothing more. Never released either. V3.0 - Well, well, nothing to say. SHIT ! V4.0ß - Totally recoded and some major improvements was made to both the user- interface and to the player. The player now able to fade-up modules. Thought about if I wanted a external decruncher or not, but finally decided to include just a Power-Packer decruncher. If you really need any other decrunchers, let me know. I have been thinking about including the 'xfdmaster.library' but I don't know yet, let me know! I will probably code some kind of equilizer until the real 4.0 and maybe include a couple of other replayers aswell. I won't let the program become to big though. BUGS!: No Remove button in program window. Caused crashes ! Sort function seem to find empty modulenames sometimes. Just re-load the original program if this occurs. I'll fix this! V4.0ç - Finally added xfdmaster.library support. This is really good, because now I can crunch modules with my favourite cruncher: StonrCracker 4.04! Still some buttons missing in the main window. Don't know what to put there yet, maybe a scope or something... BUGS!: No Remove button in program window. Caused crashes ! Sort function seem to find empty modulenames sometimes. Just re-load the original program if this occurs. I'll fix this! Well, as you can see, theese are the same bugs as before, no inspiration to fix 'em.
