Facts:		18-hole, par-72 measuring 7,179 yards from the 
		championship tees.

"One of the top 10 courses in Hawaii" said Golf Digest of the Royal
Kaanapali North Course. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., this 
course was open for play in 1962. The first major golf tournament 
held here was in 1964 - the World Cup - and Jack Nicklaus won the
event for the United States.

The front nine holes don't present golfers with too many problems
if they can get past the first hole. Reference used for the 
Kaanapali courses is T. Irving Chang, a Honolulu attorney, golfer
and my partner who brought me back the booklets on the North and
South Courses and the Hawaii Guide to Golf (ISBN 0-934997-20-9)
published by Pacific Publishing.
