What is it ? --------------- GhostMail is a program used for converting textfiles to mails for transfering through fido and compatible networks. It can be used for netmail- and echomail-messages and GhostMail creates mailpakets in your inbound-directory; therefore you have to tell your tosser to import mails again. 2. How to start --------------- It's very simple, you do not even have to have a configuration file to use GhostMail. You start GhostMail by simply typing (all in one line) 2.1. Example 1 (Matrix/Netmail): -------------------------------- <-------- command to enter ---------> <----- description -----> CLI> rx GhostMail.rexx name of the program AREA "matrix" name of area FROMADR 2:2464/221.0 the address of the sender FROM "Ali Rene Schams-Pirzadeh" name of sender TOADR 2:2464/220.0 address of receiver TO "Ali Rene Schams-Pirzadeh" name of receiver FLAGS "CM" flags to set SUBJECT "This is an example" subject FILE "GhostMail.rexx" path/name of file INBOUND "inbound:" inbound-dir ORIGIN "Original-<-Origin->-" origin to use <-------- command to enter ---------> <----- description -----> CLI> rx GhostMail.rexx name of the program AREA "netmail" name of area FROMADR 2:2464/221.0 the address of the sender FROM "Ali Rene Schams-Pirzadeh" name of sender TOADR 2:2464/220.0 address of receiver TO "Ali Rene Schams-Pirzadeh" name of receiver FLAGS "CM" flags to set SUBJECT "This is an example" subject FILE "GhostMail.rexx" path/name of file INBOUND "inbound:" inbound-dir ORIGIN "Original-<-Origin->-" origin to use As you can see it does not matter if the AREANAME is "matrix" or "netmail" ! 2.2. Example 2 (Echomail): -------------------------- <-------- command to enter ---------> <----- description -----> CLI> rx GhostMail.rexx name of program AREA "newfiles.ger" name of area FROMADR 2:2464/221.0 the address of the sender FROM "Ali Rene Schams-Pirzadeh" name of sender TO "Ali Rene Schams-Pirzadeh" name of receiver FLAGS "" flags to set SUBJECT "This is an example" subject FILE "GhostMail.rexx" path/name of file INBOUND "inbound1:" inbound-dir ORIGIN "Original-<-Origin->-" origin to use 2.3. Flags: ----------- Currently the following flags are supported: - "CM" => for crashmail - "FL" => for file attach (the file must be in your inbound-dir, use filename for subject) - "PV" => private mail (will be added automatically to net-/matrix-mails) - "KS" => kill if sent If you wanna use more than one flag: just add an extra space between them (have a look at the demo-script called 'GhostMail.Demo') ! 2.4. CONFIG-file ---------------- You may wish to use a configfile instead of all these command-line-options. That's no problem either: just write all the keywords into a configfile (one keyword a line) and use the keyword config to startup this program, "rx GhostMail.rexx config " (for example "rx GhostMail.rexx config GhostMail.cfg"). The configfile may have the following additional keywords: 2.4.1. STACK ------------------------ Default is "300000". 2.4.2. TASKPRI ------------------------- Default is "-8". 2.4.3. TEARLINE ------------------------ The tearline; should start with "---". Default is "---" --> You may use for all keywords small or capital letters (or mixed) <-- 3.
