Welcome to the demo version of Ultimate Cheats. This is really my first PD 
production. I've created a few decent S.E.U.C.K shoot-em-up's but have never 
released them. As you can imagine, it's took me ages to put the full version 
together (it contains over 700 cheats, 300 Action Replays and 50 solutions). 
It started when I bought a few cheats disks. I was planning a Shareware 
release and thought I could better the other disks in size (This demo version 
contains only a fifth of the full version so imagine how BIG it must be), 
presentation, music and simplicity. I started printing out cheats, getting 
magazines together and asking friends for all their cheats (thanks to Andrew 
O'Brien and Andrew Keeling). Eventually, after 2 months of hard, time 
consuming months I had a massive pile of cheats all althabetically listed. I 
started typing them in in January 1995. Finally, in March 1995 the first disk 
was finished complete with title screens, music and most importantly 200 
cheats. By early June 1995 all the cheats were typed and it was on to the 
solutions. Everything is now done (i'm writing this on the 6th July 1995). I 
hope you do find this disk useful for getting past those hard games which 
have been left redundant because your stuck. Read on to find out about 
obtaining the full version.

Instructions aren't really needed but, erm, here goes:-

There are two methods of control:

1) By mouse. Click on the control panel below for different effects. eg. go 
   to index, turn music on/off, go to page number, ect. To access files just  
   move the mouse pointer over the chosen file and it loads very quickly. To
   move page forwards and backwards use the arrows in the bottom right corner 
   of the screen, the <- goes back a page, the -> goes forward a page, the up
   arrow goes to the top of the file and the down arrow goes to the bottom of  
   the file.

2) Control is possible using the keyboard. Press the arrow keys for the same 
   effect as the arrows in the bottom right corner of the screen. Press Esc 
   for index, Space to go to a page number and S to turn off the music.

@3HOW DO I GET PRINTOUTS@1

You can't print out from the actual program but all files can easily be 
printed simply by loading them into a wordprocessor as an ASCII file. There 
will however, be little marks in the files which signal colour changes for 
when they are shown on this selector. The marks are simply a @ followed by a 
number between 2 and 7, delete these with your wordprocessor and the file 
will be perfect to print out. Don't save the file with the marks deleted or 
every word in that file will be white (which looks crap) when viewing the 
cheats. It's real easy to find the file you want as all cheats beginning with 
A are in a drawer called A, B = B, CC = C and D = D. The solutions at the end 
are not in any drawers.

Here are the features of the full version:-

1 = 720 cheats
2 = 1000's of action replay pokes for around 300 games.
3 = 50 solutions
4 = 5 Disks
5 = Each disk contains its own music track which fills the disk space up
    very nicely
6 = Each disk is auto booting
7 = Simple controls

To obtain the full version send a five pound note and your name and adress 
complete with a letter telling me that you want the Ultimate Amiga Cheats 
compilation to the adress a bit further on. (don't send a cheque as cash is 
quicker for me and you'll get the disks faster)

I think I'm giving you a good offer here as it usually costs a pound or more 
a disk from PD companys and you have to pay postage.

If you buy the full version of this demo then you'll also be able to buy a 
new cheats disk when it comes out. It'll be called The Ultimate Cheats 
Compilation Update and will be on a single disk. It will have about 200 
cheats/solutions and will be on only 1 disk and cost £2. Only people who buy 
the full version of this demo will be able to buy the follow up.
    I'm also planning a personal and Magazine reviews disk. It will contain 
lots of magazine reviews for commertial and PD games and will also contain my 
personal reviews of some of my games helping you choose what games you want 
before you buy them and find out that their crap. A demo of this will be 
avalible on from PD librarys and the full version will be avalible from me.
