Logging ON & Logging OFF - This button switches the program from standby into logging mode, and vice-versa,this is the heart of the program. When logging mode is ON, the button will indicate this by displaying "Logging ON" From this point on until logging mode is switched off, (using the same button or the menu option), every disk that is inserted into drive DF0: will be examined and added to the list. (Unless it is a non-dos disk, where you will be asked if you wish to manually insert a Volume Name.) This button switches both logging and contents mode on at the same time, this means that as well as logging the volume name, the program will record the contents of the disk as well, NB on startup the default is for the program to record a list of the FILES only, excluding any directories that may be present. To alter this select "Files and Directories" from the preferences menu using the right mouse button. Whenever a search, delete or save function is carried out, logging mode is switched off. TurboCat will only log a particular volume name once, should you accidently insert the same disk in twice, you will be informed and asked if you really wish to log it. (Useful where different disks have the same volume name).
