Hello and welcome to the animated world of Dancing Flame. Here is a list and a short description of the animation scripts you should have on your disk. landing.script - Lunar Module descends on the moon. Cels and background by Aegis. the_beast.script - A dragon burps. mikeblob.script - Blob genre animation by Mike Gomez of Island Graphics loiner2.script - a cubist view of paranoi RefroAttak.script - Have you cleaned your refrigerator lately? grow-ur-own.script - From Aegis. Robot makes a date. tara.script - Good luck from Tibet! cycle_demo.script - From Aegis. You can run these programs from the Animator. Some of them, particularly FireEater, are quite big and may cause out of memory problems if you just have 512k. I've also included the first cut of the public domain player program. There is a bug left which makes "block" types appear as just a point. To use type: player - you will get a menu. Pick any .script file and PLAY. player +all - will replay everything forever or until you hit keyboard player sea4 mrph tara - will play the scripts you list. All artwork unless otherwise noted was done by Jim Kent. All artwork not attributed to Aegis is copyright (c) 1986 by Dancing Flame. Some of the scripts have been distibuted with the Animator. However since the scripts that are distributed with the Animator are frequently changed I have included some of my favorites here as well. I hope you do enjoy these and feel free to encorporate bits and pieces into your own scripts. If you have any animations you like please send them by. Leave a note whether you would like me to distibute them. There are two other files you may be interested in on this disk. The first is known_bugs - a list of the bugs we've discovered (and of course hope to fix soon) in the Animator 1.10. The other is script_format - a file written almost entirely in computerese which could be helpful if you wish to generate script files from a basic or C program as well as with the mouse.
