AGA RULES

With the Amiga 1200 and Amiga 4000 Commodore gave us a lot of new
possibilities - and problems too. At The Party the dmoes fro the demo
competition have always had to run on a standard Amiga 500. This year we
wanted it to be like that again, but we knew that some productions were
made for the AGA machines, and therefore we made a special AGA demo
competition, with lower prices than the traditionally demo competition
though.

But as the number of AGA machines are increasing and probably are going to
be standards in a short time, we thought it was wrong to give lower prices
for these demos. But we couldn't afford to rise the prices without lowering
the prices in other competitions.

Thererfore we have deciced to make one competition for both AGA and
traditional demos. It means that the demos fro the demo competition must be
able to run on a standard Amiga 500 (OS1.3) with 1 MB of memory or on a
standard Amiga 1200 or even both. This combined competition also give som
extra high prices.

The same thing have happened to the graphics competition. AGA pictures can
compete along with traditional pirctures.

In both competitions it might seem unfair for the traditional machines to
compete with the new better machines, but the old ones have been around for
a longer time, so they have the experience. Besides we will try to
compensate by telling whether the pictures/demos are AGA or not.
