¤9INXS¤1 was  obviously very much inspired
by ¤2U2¤1 when making this album.  Like U2
(Achtung Baby)  they decided to  use a
new  kind of  rock sound,  a different
kind of sound.  And after getting used
ð
to it it sounds real good.
  A  good  thing  about this  album is
that all the  songs  are  put together
(there   is  no   space  between   the
tracks).


¤51. Questions  2:08                  92%¤1

This  is the perfect introduction to a
great album. The song has really got a
different  but  nice  atmosphere.  The
trumpet  in  the background  is one of
the arguments to it's high percentage.
  One of the best  songs on the album.
It's  a  shame  that  it's   so  short
though.

¤52. Heaven Sent  3:16               90%¤1

This is not the only track that sounds
a bit like U2's latest album  "Achtung
baby".  This was the first single from

¤1the album. Actually a real rock'n roll
hit!

¤53. Communication  5:18             85%¤1

It has a real odd beginning, but after
a  while the  odd samples  are drowned
behind the guitars,  the bass  and the
keyboard.
  However,  it sounds  real good.  The
background keyboard loop is wonderful.

¤54. Taste It  3:21                  70%¤1

At first I didn't  like this song very
much,  but after hearing it some  (eh,
several...) times it gets better.
  This is probably the typical INXS
song.

¤55. Not Enough Time  4:10           80%¤1

This  is  a  piece of  slow rock.  The
ð
backing vocals by  Deni Hines together
with   Michael  Hutchence's  emotional
voice   make   the   perfect   musical
combination.

¤56. All Around  3:18                55%¤1

This is a quite  normal rock  song and
also  a  normal  ¤9INXS¤1  song  with pure
normal  standard.  All around  normal.
Too normal.

¤57. Baby Don't Cry  4:45            92%¤1

This  is  the  second  single  of  the 
album. It has almost everything a real
hit   should  have;   a  nice  melody, 
perfect  orchestral arrangements and a
powerful singer.
  The  one  and   only  minus  is  the
lyrics.  They  sing  "Baby  don't cry"
more than 40 times. And that's atleast
twenty times too much.

¤58. Beautiful Girl  3:27            93%¤1

Imagine  a musical drink consisting of
50%  R.E.M.   and   50%  Dire Straits.
That's  exactly how  this song sounds.
It sounds  real good too!   There  are
almost no guitars.   The central point
is in the keyboard, the soft drums and
the wonderful saxophone.

¤59. Wishing Well  3:24              55%¤1

This  is actually  a quite  weak song,
without any real highlights.
  This is not  the kind of song you're
humming on when you're on the beach.
  It's not bad,  just boring.   Not my
vision of a wishing well...

¤510. Back On Line  3:12             82%¤1

I  simply  don't  know  what  to write
about this song. It's good, especially
ð
the keyboards...

¤511. Strange Desire  4:08           58%¤1

Another quite normal  song without the
real touch.  It's absolutely  not bad,
but  you don't  exactly  get happy  of
listening to it.

¤512. Men And Women  4:33            62%¤1
This, the last track has a very gloomy
appearance,     though    it's   quite
magnificent.  Particularly  the ending
gives   you  the  picture  of  a  huge
orchestra,  which it in fact is!  It's
the   Australian   Concert   Orchestra
conducted by Colin Piper.
