Phonebill is, simply said, a logfile analyser. What it basically does is scan the logfile(s) generated by a terminal program or a mailer, extract all information about calls you have made by using your modem, and store this in its own (short) format. Then Phonebill can give you details like the exact costs of the calls, and much more. You might wonder: why did I write this program? Sure... there are hundreds of logfile analysers that sometimes even calculate the costs correctly, but all these programs are just simple, very limited, uncomfortable, CLI-based programs, that don't offer the features Phonebill is offering. binary only.
