CPK V1.0 January 3, 1993 CPK is a program designed to render space-filling representations of molecules. Unlike some other programs currently available for the Amiga, this program correctly handles the intersecting sphere problem by using the famous Bresenham circle algorithm in 3D. The program is also capable of rendering a series of frames to IFF files. These may be read into programs like DPAINT and used to build AnimBrushes, thus creating animations of spinning molecules. A number of atomic coordinate files are included with this distribution. In addition, versions for 68030 and 68040 MMU equipped Amigas are included. The program requires V3.X of the Amiga OS to run, but currently does not support the AGA chipset. Author: Eric G. Suchanek, Ph.D.
