The Loop CT-1458 Multisync is a multisync monitor (15-48khz), 1024x768
that has .28 dot-pitch, can sync to all Amiga modes (I havent been able to
try ECS modes, as I have no ECS Denise, but it should work from the specs)
has good color with a dark black background, and also has a "Wide" switch
that results in NO black borders like most other multisyncs, and has vertical
and horizontal controls. Also, the price is *very* good at approx. 369.00 plus
about $20.00 shipping and handling (I purchased mine through a dealer, so I
paid a little overhead ...)


  The only problems to report with the monitor so far is a slight horizontal 
non-linearity (which I have seen on monitors hundreds $$ more).

  Also, If the monitor is connected directly to the Amiga DB23 output, the
monitor will cause the Amiga to guru upon bootup when it tries to sync to the
Amiga. It apparently sends noise back into the Amiga during sync via the
H-sync and V-sync lines. This is not necessarily the monitor's fault, however,
since the H-sync and V-sync lines go directly to the Agnes chip, and are not
buffered in any way. Commodore apparently ships a buffer/adapter with it's own
1950 monitor that buffers these lines, and converts the DB23 to a standard hi
density VGA DB15 connector. I am using one of these devices. I can put together a 
a schematic diagram for such a device if anyone is interested in building their
own, else the device should be available from Commodore service ...
