Starting any of the Example programs under 1.3 causes a spectacular crash.

This is obviously a problem with my failure code.  I was trying to be
cute and tell you that SHADOW required 2.0, but I forgot that I had
NULL'd out DOSBase :(

Until then, as SHADOW doesn't run under 1.3, don't try and run
the Examples under 1.3.

Sorry folks -- feel quite foolish.
