Cascade =========== by Chris Papademetrious GEnie mail ID: CHRIS.P [Chrispy] What is Cascade? ================ Cascade is a program I wrote to clean up the Workbench drawer windows. When run, it will recursively search a given drive, and automatically adjust the position of any Workbench drawer windows to fit snugly inside its parent. Cascade requires OS 2.0, V36 or greater. If you experience problems, try increasing your stack size, although I doubt anyone will ever run into problems. How do I run Cascade? ===================== You type "Cascade" followed by the name of the partition to clean up. If you specify no partition, it will assume SYS: (the drive you booted from) and begin cleaning it up. Here's an example line: 1.SYS:> Cascade Work: Note that the Workbench screen MUST be open for Cascade to do its thing, because it needs to know some information about the screen in order to set the window positions properly. The optional keyword "FORCE" will force Cascade to continue processing in the event of an error. This is useful for timed scripts or other automated use. The optional keyword "ICON" will cause Cascade to position the windows to line up with its icon, rather than the location of its parent window. Feel free to experiment, you can't break anything! Wow, this is great! Where do I send donations? =============================================== I hope you find this useful. My primary goal is to help all us Amiga fans live a healthier, happier, more care-free life. But I will not turn away any donations any kind souls wish to make. I'm currently paying off a new Amiga 3000, and I would appreciate any help with that! :-) - Chris Papademetrious 306 Summit Drive Ephrata, PA 17522 (717) 733-3682 1.SYS:> date Thursday 29-Aug-91 00:46:32 *wink*
