This routine will convert a midifile FORMAT 1 to midifile FORMAT 0.
The only META events converted are TEMPO and END OF TRACK.
I found this to be no problem but if anyone disagrees I would like to hear
from you. 
This routine will convert files sizes up to the maximum of an ULONG. (Which
equals a HUGE file)
You can use  PLAYMF by Bill Barton to play the converted file as long as the
converted file is 32k or less.  PLAYMF is a utility that came with the 
midi.library archive found elsewhere in this forum.(MIDI20.???,I think) 

Place "Mff1To0" in your C: directory and execute from CLI using the 
following format:  "Mff1to0 <Midifile1input> <MidiFile0output>"
