Here is nifty utility. It reports on the fragmentation of files on a disk or in a directory. It works with floppies and harddrives, and Old File System and the Fast File System, (probably will report an error if you use WB2.0 file system options that are not in WB 1.3). It works either from the CLI or the WorkBench. There is one option, Verbose, for a listing of the fragmented files as they are found. There is a chance that it might hang the system because it expects data faster than the drives can read it (mostly from floppy drives thou) so make sure that anything else you are working on has been saved. THIS PROGRAM DOES NOT WRITE TO THE DISK SO DATA IS SAFE. I hope you like it. Tim Stotelmeyer (Timeus)
