This distribution contains the executable and data files for the exciting and ghoulish game of "Zombie Mall". This game is freeware; it is not to be sold, rented, licenced, speculated upon, or gambled away. If anyone wants the source code, I will sell it to him or her for $20 (including a mall map editor). Sound like a good deal? It is! To install Zombie Mall, first de-archive all of the files. They will occupy about 380 K of your disk, so make sure you have enough room. The executable is called "zombie", and it expects to find all of its data files relative to the device "zombie:". So use the assign command to set up the zombie: device. Next, create a directory named sound in zombie: and copy the sound files to that directory. Then you are all set: type in "zombie" or double-click on the zombie icon to begin the game. Here are the requisite commands (assuming df1: as the destination): lharc x df1: zombie.lzh assign zombie: df1: mkdir df1:sound copy df1:harp df1:sound/harp delete df1:harp copy df1:peoplescream df1:sound/peoplescream delete df1:peoplescream copy df1:rifle df1:sound/rifle delete df1:rifle copy df1:windowsmash df1:sound/windowsmash delete df1:windowsmash copy df1:zombiegroan df1:sound/zombiegroan delete df1:zombiegroan copy df1:doorclose df1:sound/doorclose delete df1:doorclose copy df1:maindoorclose df1:sound/maindoorclose delete df1:maindoorclose copy df1:step df1:sound/step delete df1:step copy df1:tune df1:sound/tune delete df1:tune I can be reached at : Hobie Orris 10 Budgell Terrace Toronto, Ont.
