This issue we will be highlighting a unique ShareWare program. ShareWare programs, for those of you who haven't heard the term before, are distributed through public domain access. These ShareWare authors have chosen, to let the user try and evaluate their programs before asking to be paid for them. They only ask that if you, the user, find their programs of use, please send them money or some token for their efforts. Many good utilities and games can be acquired as ShareWare. Our first ToolChest distributed shareware program is called Tessalator, an unusual program to say the least. It helps in generating tessalations (ha ha). What is a tessalation you ask? The best way to answer that is to double click on the IntroTitle icon. The picture displayed is a tessalation. Historically, this type of program is used by clothing and wallpaper manufactures. This type of program can cost thousands of dollars. What can you use this program for? Probably the most useful application for this program is in designing unique patterns for use in paint programs, as backdrops for ray tracing, or textures for your 3d vector objects. Write us and let us know how you have used this program, or better yet, send us a copy of your tiles. Oh yes. I almost forgot. I have it on good authority that a high resolution version with improved drawing speeds is planed for the future if enough people respond to the authors. Notes: This program will not PRINT unless your implementation of WorkBench was used for the boot disk. Also, if you experience some problems using the fill, try increasing your stack size.
