_______________________________ | | | Wheel of Fortune version 1.0 | |______________________________| This is a homebrewed Amiga version of the ever-popular TV game show. NOTES: 1. "Amiga" is a trademark of Commodore-Amiga, Inc. 2. "Wheel of Fortune" is probably a trademark of Merv Griffin Enterprises. If it is, I hope Merv isn't mad about this. The TV show is much better than this computer game, and everyone should watch it every day and buy all the products of its sponsors. If Merv ever produces his own Amiga version of the game, you should immediately throw this one away and buy the official version as it will undoubtedly be much better. (OK, Merv?) __________________________ To play the game, you must make sure that the "Puzzles" file is in the same directory (or the root) as "Wheel of Fortune" itself. You can edit the "Puzzles" file with any text editor. The format will be obvious if you take a look at it. Of course, you can also throw it away completely (or rename it) and make your own, just so long as it's called "Puzzles" and is in the same directory as the program. __________________________ This is version 1.0. Plans for future versions: 1. Vanna - of course! 2. Once in a great while, the computer locks up when the first round begins. This is very rare, and I haven't figured out why. Will be fixed when I do. 3. A "pause" control. 4. Ability to customize by using your own name (instead of "Human"). 5. Smaller code. ______________________________ To the extent there is anything original here, it is: Copyright © 1988 Kent E. Shafer - all rights reserved.
