Permission is granted for this software to be posted to bulletin boards as long as all the files in the archive are kept intact. Contents of the ARC file: AMIGANTT -- the main program, which can be run from CLI or Workbench AMIGANTT.inf -- an icon file (for Workbench access) which should be renamed to AMIGANTT.info AMIGANTT.doc -- the full documentation set for AMIGANTT TESTPROJ.dat -- a 'test project' data file READ.ME -- this file Known Anomolies: 1. There are a number of options (sorts, move task, resource & pert windows) that are not yet implemented. These are documented and will be added in future releases. 2. Currently, printouts from AMIGANTT assume that you have 132 characters available across the page. If you are using 8 1/2" by 11" paper (as most of us seem to) then you should change your PREFERENCES to 15 pitch or put the printer into COMPRESSED mode before printing from AMIGANTT. Very soon, AMIGANTT will be enhanced to look at the PREFERENCES and will send the appropriate control code to make sure the printouts look good. 3. Due to a bug in the Lattice C sprintf function, 3 digit numbers in the totals in the printouts are incorrect. As soon as Lattice gets the patch out, I will release a new version of AMIGANTT with the correction. Bug Reports: Encouraged and welcomed. Please address any comments to the author at any of the addresses above. Futures: Expected enhancements for the next release of AMIGANTT are: a) ARP file requestor and interface b) ARexx interface c) Depiction of 'floating' tasks d) Definition of project milestones e) Upgrade or removal of the limitation on the number of tasks f) Allowing other projects as tasks g) Dynamic Resource and Pert Chart windows where these graphical depictions of the project will change as the tasks are added, modified, or deleted h) MOVE TASK function will be added i) SORT menu options will be operational j) AMIGANTT will have an option to produce icons for projects to allow direct loading from Workbench
