I will post updates to this package as far as I get catalogs, docs, installer scripts or bugs fixed. Thanks for testing Yak. If you find a bug in Convert, the best thing to do is to send me your s:yak.prefs and s:yak.hotkeys files with your bug report. BUGS FIXED AND ENHANCEMENTS BETA 7 - french catalog updated - All GUI windows are now centered on mouse pointer on their opening. - Bug in definitions of mouse cycling which could sometimes overwrite the include screens pattern. - MMB Shift gadget was not updated. - Mouse Cycling somehow faster. BETA 6 - 'Mouse Cycling' and 'MMB Shift' work now with V37 commodities.library - Convert now writes into both ENV: and ENVARC: (yes really ;-) - Convert was badly converting 'ClickWindows' into "Exclude Wb window'. - Clicking on 'Miscellaneous' gadget no longer gurues. - 'Execute Command' was no longer keeping workbench path. - GUI now uses thin bevel boxes, I hope you appreciate it Pierre ;-) - Bug found in 'Bottom' option of 'Move Screen' action. - Clicking on 'Save' gadget now really quit Yak_Prefs. - Yak_Prefs tooltypes FONTNAME and FONTSIZE have been replaced by a single tooltype FONT. For example, you can specify: FONT=helvetica 15 - If the opening of the GUI failed, Yak_Prefs quits. - 'AutoPoint' related gadgets are now in the 'Windows activation' box. - Doc updated. BETA 5 - Deutsch catalog updated by Ingolf Koch. - Finnish catalog updated by Arttu Kärpinlehto. - Italian catalog updated by Alessandro Galassi. - The "No Screen Change' option was not working. So Yak palette was always openned on default public screen instead of current screen, same thing for other hotkeys using this option. - Definition changes for WindowToFront and WindowToBack were not taken into account by Yak. - 'Menu Shortcut' works now. - Amigaguide documentation now available in english. - Yak is now linked with wb2cli.o (such as Yak 1.60) instead of wbpath.o in order to try to fix a problem with workbench path. - Added an option to 'UNIX Dirs' to allow use of '/' instead of ':' - Convert now writes into both ENV: and ENVARC: - Bug in convert about 'Exclude Wb window' option. BETA 4 - Some minor changes between main window and 'miscellaneous' window. - When switching from one window settings to another one, the new one gets activated. - Added a 'Clear' gadget to the keydef window. - 'Exclude Wb window' option of WindowToFront was always enabled. - 'UNIX Dirs' works now, or at least it seems. BETA 3 - Convert and Yak_Prefs crashed on 68000 based machines. - Convert can use LANGUAGE tooltype now. - Convert wasn't able to convert Yak 1.3 DOS command hotkeys. - Default values for 'Execute Command' were not set. - MMB Shift crashed the system ! - There were garbage chars after 'DiskInserted' and 'DiskRemoved' in the hotkey definition window. - If a hotkey is still unnamed, use window titles like "Set options for <>" instead of just "Set options for". - New option for CycleWindows action, you can now specify a pattern on the name of the task which handle some windows. Some examples: To exclude ToolManger windows (docks), you can use "~(ToolManager Handler)" pattern. To cycle only BrowserII windows, you can use "#?BrowserII#?". To find the name of a task attached to a window, you can use ARTM and in the window description, you will find the name of this task on the line "UserPort: ... mp-SigTask". - 'Blank display' has no options now, Locking was not satisfying and need some more work, maybe back for 2.1. - Some strings modified and new for catalogs. BETA 2 - Sending a 'Show' event to Yak from Exchange crashed the system ! - ScreenCycling via mouse only worked if there was a window under mouse. - WildStar and NoClick gadgets were inverted. - NoClick and BlackBorder (when off) were disabling their respective system flags without testing them, so nickprefs was disabling click on drive and Yak was reenabling it after even with NoClick off. - Position of the bottom Bevel Box of the main window was not font sensitive. - Now entering the hotkey definition window disables Yak and re-enables it after the window is closed. This is more convenient especially for mouse cycling definitions.. - 2 new tooltypes for the prefs program to let you choose your own font for Yak GUI independenlty from the screen font. Look at the tooltypes of Prefs/Yak.info for some example. Warning, if the screen is not big enough for the window to adapt itself to the specified font, Yak will use topaz.font 8. Gaël and Philippe
