Welcome to The BABYLON PROJECT. This BBS System is one man's dream made manifest. It is the culmination (well,so far...) of 5 years of work that began as the result of frustration over the lack of adequate BBS systems for the Amiga computer. It has grown from a system on par with the likes of "Color 64" and "CNET 64/128" to a system that is fully capable of becoming a UseNet node, a FidoNet node, a REAL InterNet node, full handling of .QWK packet exchange, and currently I am working on implementation of direct ISDN line support. The system is not without it's "growing pains". After all, this system represents a dream made manifest, trying to figure itself out. The system is also not without a certain limited degree of intellegence. It has been deliberately created to constantly anticipate users needs. The BABYLON PROJECT represents our last, best hope for a viable, working BBS System well into the future. It's a port to call, a place to visit and meet new people. This is the culmination of the first of the BABYLON projects. The software is called ShadoeGate, the SysOp is Rick.
