WanDiArc -- WangiPad dearchiving support
                ========================================

Introduction
============

This utility adds dearchiving capabilities to WangiPad (The BEST launchpad 
util :) It requires at least version 1.15 of WangiPad. The most recent 
version of Wangipad can be downloaded from AmiNet, the file is 
util/wb/WangiPad.lha 

Installation
============

1. The majority of the archives are dearchived to the assign ARCOUT: This
   therefore must be assigned somewhere.
   
2. Select "Preferences..." from your WangiPad pad, this will invoke the 
   preference editor. Now select "Append..." from the preference editors 
   menu. Select the file "WangiArc.Prefs" from this distribution. A
   number of new items will now be added to the foot of the list.
   
Usage & Archiver Support
========================

To dearchive an archive you simply drag the file over the appropriate item
on the WangiPad pad.

The following is a list of the new items added to your pad, the programs
required to use the item and where to obtain the program on AmiNet.

1. "Cruncher DeArchive"

 This item will unpack files compressed with utilities such as PowerPacker 
 and Imploder. It uses dld by Georg Hörmann (AmiNet: ???). The new file
 overwrites the original.
 
2. "DMS DeArchive"
 
 This item will decompress disk images created by DMS. It requires DMS
 (AmiNet: util/arc/dms111.run). You have to confirm the options before they 
 are executed. The disk will, by default, be written onto df0:
 
3. "GZIP DeArchive"

 This item will dearchive gnuzip archives (.gz .Z). It requires GZip
 (AmiNet: util/pack/gzip124x2.lha). The archive will be decompressed to
 ARCOUT:
 
4. "LhA DeArchive"

 This item will dearchive the popular lha and lzh archives. It requires LhA 
 by Stefan Boberg (AmiNet: util/arc/LhA_e138.run). The archive will be 
 decompressed to ARCOUT:
 
5. "LZX DeArchive"

 This item will dearchive the LhA beating LZX archives. It requires LZX
 (AmiNet: util/arc/LZX100.lha). The archive will be decompressed to ARCOUT:
 
6. "ZOO DeArchive"

 This item will dearchive zoo archives. It requires zoo 
 (AmiNet: util/arc/zoo2-10.lzh). The archive will be decompressed to ARCOUT:

Future
======

 - More archive support, eg .tar .arc .arj .zip .lhw ....... ?
 
 - Cut down on the number of items that are added to the list, eg allow
   all file archivers (LhA, LZX, tar....) to be accessed from a single item,
   this would call an ARexx script, which would launch the nessessary
   command depending on the files suffix.
   
 - I am happy for another person to carry out the above work, and to 
   distribute it was WanDiArc_xxx.lha, where xxx is some unique id/number.
   For example this should be WanDiArc_lsk.lha, because I created it. Also
   remember to mention me in the docs :)
