About the 'bin_svr4/libfpl' file:

This file has been compiled on an Intel machine running Dell UNIX 2.2 and
should run fine on any Intel SVR4 UNIX.

Check out the src/Makefile.SVR4 for details, and remember that programs use the
environment variable LD_LIBRARY_PATH to find shared libraries. Include the
libfpl directory in that path and all will be fine!


OTHER UNIXES
============
 This compiles easily under other kinds of UNIXes too, and I would appriciate
if you sent me all changes required to make it run smoothly under the UNIX
you've tried...!
