The following problems have been reported to me within the
last week (4-11 Feb 95).

1. PPP Device

Telnet and Archie won't work as they detect whether
$slip0state is equal to ONLINE.

Run PPP.patch and this should solve this problem.


2. Can't Get Past StartAmiTCP or Quit requester

I have presumed that everybody has a script file called
Amitcp:bin/startnet in their set up. This is not the case
and I have adapted CP to cater for this.

If "Startnet" is not present the start button on the main
requester will not work.

I suggest that you create a script file which contains all
the instructions to start AmiTCP and call it Startnet, and
place it in your AmiTCP:bin/ directory.

3. Requesters Cover My Icons

Somebody ask if the requester position could be changed as
it covered his HD icons. This is now possible.
