     The above is generally known as mailware.  



     1. Introduction 
     --------------- 

     This commodity helps you managing the work with different
     printers by popping up a GUI that lets you select the printer
     you want to be active by pressing this printer´s gadget.

     Nearly everything can be chosen by the icon´s tooltypes.

     PrintSEL V1.2 requires KICKSTART & WORKBENCH 2.0 or higher!




     2. Installation
     ---------------

     PrintSEL is very easy to install, just copy it together with its icon
     wherever you want it, i.e. to WBStartUp.
     
     
     
     
     3. How to use it
     ----------------

     PrintSEL uses WB´s Icontooltypes, that´s why it can be only run from
     workbench.
     In the tooltypes you can set all information, PrintSEL needs to popup.
     This are the window-coordinates, the number of the printers you want
     to handle, the printer´s names and printerdrivers and at least the
     font and fontsize. You can although set the standard commodity-
     tooltypes. When you start the program, it pops up (or not if you set
     CX_POPUP=NO) a window with a gadget for every printer you selected in
     the tooltypes. The pressed gadget shows the active printer. If you
     want to print on another printer you only have to click its gadget and
     switch your Parallelportswitch to the right position.
     
     PrintSEL although behaves like every normal Commodity. You can show
     and hide the window, etc.
     
     
     4. The Tooltypes
     ----------------

     The following tooltypes can be set:

     		CX_POPUP=YES or NO			-> Standard CX-Tooltype
        CX_PRIORITY							-> Standard CX-Tooltype
        CX_POPKEY								-> Standard CX-Tooltype

        printers=1 to ...				-> Number of printers to be managed
        activenr=1 to ...				-> Active printer when PrintSEL is started

        wintopedge,							\
        winleftedge,						 \ Coordinates of
        winwidth and						 / the window
        winheight								/

        printerXname=NAME     	-> Name of printer X
        printerXexec=DRIVER			-> Name of printer X´s driverpreset

        font=name								-> Exact name of the font
        fontsize=size						-> Size for this font




     5. About the driverpresets
     --------------------------

     This driverpresets specified in the printerXexec-tooltype must be the complete
     path and name of the Preset, saved with the Prefs-Program "Printer" by calling
     the "Save as ..." menuitem.

     The difference between 1.1 and 1.2 :

         - Fixed some bugs
         - You can use as many printers as you want
         - The window´s sizelimit has raised

     There is although Version 1.0 with only one difference: It´s no commodity
     and it´s smaller
