Short: Three MPEGs digitized & encoded on A1200 Type: gfx/anim Uploader: per-espen.hagen@ffi.no Author: per-espen.hagen@ffi.no This archive contains three MPEGs that I assembled some time ago on my A1200-030, uploaded `by popular demand'... One MPEG is a clip from Belinda Carlisle's video Circle in the Sand, digitized at 160 x 128 x 21-bit, 91 frames at 12.5 fps. The other two come from Deborah Harry's video Sweet and Low, digitized at 352 x 290 x 21-bit, 127 frames at 12.5 fps, and semi-automatically retouched with ImageFX. Belinda.mpeg is encoded at 160 x 128. Sweet&Low256.mpeg is 256x192, and Sweet&Low128.mpeg is just 128 x 96. I get the following performance with the three MPEGs: mp 1.03 aMiPEG Gray HAM6 HAM8 --------------------------------------------- Belinda.mpeg 9.6 5.9 5.0 Sweet&Low128.mpeg 25.5 13.3 11.7 Sweet&Low256.mpeg 7.2 3.6 3.1 Hardware and software used: o Amiga A1200 with Blizzard 1230-II (68030/68882), 14 MB RAM, 260 MB HD o Fisher FVH-D55S (Hi-Fi VHS deck with digital still picture) o NewTek DV-21 (non-realtime digitizer) and Digi-Splitt (RGB splitter) o ImageFX 1.50 o Michael van Elst's "BuildMPEG" tool and script (called from ImageFX)
