    We thank you for purchasing Ami-Back Tools, the premier set of
disk utilities for the Commodore Amiga personal computer.  We are
sure that Ami-Back Tools will become an indespensible part of your
system software.  All of us have worked very hard to make Ami-Back
Tools the most full-featured and most reliable set of disk
utilities available for the Amiga computer.  Let us know what you
think!  Your suggestions and/or comments are most welcome.


Last minute notes:

Scheduler

 - When deleting a configuration file, it will actually be removed
   from the list until you press save.  The file will be marked as
   *Deleted*.

Ami-Back Tools

 - WorkBench version 1.x does not support color fonts.
   Ami-Back Tools does use these type fonts in the main screen
   gadgets.  Therefore when using the program under WorkBench 1.x
   the main gadget pictures will not be displayed in 3D as it
   would be in 2.0+.

 - When the 911-Recovery tool recovers files whose directories no
   longer exist, it will create a directory called "Orphaned_Files"
   to which it will backup these files.  (Reviver will simply put
   undeleted files whose directories no longer exist in the root
   directory of the current device.)

 - Be sure to run the Analyst on the current device before running
   the General Practitioner to optimize it.  If there are errors in
   the disk structure when an optimization is performed, the G.P.
   will inform you of the error and subsequently abort.  Running
   the Analyst on the device first will ensure the device to be
   free of errors (it is not required to run the Analyst on a
   device if you know the device to be error-free). 


Both Programs

 - If at any time a Memory Error or Error occurs
   that will not allow a requestor to be displayed, the error
   will be saved to the program's log file.
   
 - You may run the program from the floppy under any operating system
   once you have booted with a WorkBench disk.


Arexx Port

 - Due to time restraints we were unable to complete the Arexx
   port for Ami-Back Tools.  We decided to complete this in a
   later version.  We expect to have this compeleted April of 1993.
   This upgarde will be FREE.  You can either send your original
   disk in with your registration card or download the patch file
   off our support bbs.  We apologize if this causes any
   inconvenience.
