My brother made this game a few years ago, and never uploaded it. In case any of you are familiar with Kit's work, (mammoth boing, It's the Pits!, Dillo, etc.) I feel I should inform you that his programming career ended with his death a few weeks ago. I hope you all can enjoy the work he did while he shared this world with us. This is a cool 1st person maze game, where you can make your own maze or load one of the dozen or so I made & included. You can load Solid.maze for a maze full of walls, and cut away at them, or start with the blank maze and fill it in. Instructions are in the LHA file. This is a shareware game where you're trapped in a dungeon on the moon of a planet. These dungeons were built for prisoners to fight huge nasty "Skullbots." If you kill all the skullbots, you go free. If you don't, well, you're toast. By the way, did I mention when you start all you have is a butter-knife? Not to worry, there are guns, healers, and ??? Some members of @{B}ACCUG@{UB} have spoken out against using archives on club disks. Many members have stated that they would prefer all programs "ready to run." I feel that archives, because of their data compression routines, allow for more information to be placed on a single disk. Also in the Amiga world, many "ShareWare" authors @{B}REQUIRE@{UB} that their software packages be released @{B}ONLY@{UB} in the @{B}ORIGINAL ARCHIVE@{UB}. Enough said. This document contains much information about the contents of files found on this disk. Each file has an entry similar to the following: Filename.ext - Version - Source - [flags] | DIR 1) Filename is the name of the file, the extension (.ext) will tell you what kind of file it is. Some typical extensions include: .LZH - LHARC style archive (obsolete). .LHA - LHA style archive, replaces LHARC (.LZH). .DMS - DISKMASHER style archive. .GIF - Graphics Interchange Format file. .IFF - Standard Amiga IFF graphics file. 2) Version is the current version of the file. Use this to make sure you are using the very latest version available as periodic upgrades will occasionally appear on @{B}ACCUG@{UB} Amiga club disks. 3) Source is where I originally obtained the file and is useful if the program turns out not to work properly. This can also be used to track a file if it turns out not to be freely redistributable. 4) The flags field contains information about the contents of a archive file. Some typical flags include: 2 - Requires AmigaDOS 2.04, or better. 3 - Requires AmigaDOS 3.1, or better. P - Requires the display to be in PAL video mode. A - Requires AGA graphics chip set. EXE - The archive contains an executable file. DOC - The archive contains documentation. SUP - The archive contains support files such as libraries, fonts, device drivers, etc. XSUP - The archive requires support files such as libraries, fonts, device drivers, etc. and these support files are NOT supplied. SRC - The archive contains source code, this is usually followed by a modifier which tells what type of source code is included. Typical examples: C - Source code in C. M2 - Source code in Modula-II (was MOD). ASM - Source code in Assembly. REX - Source code in ARexx. 5) The last (DIR) is present if the archive contains subdirectories. Some of the early archive extraction programs require a command line switch to properly extract files from archives which contain subdirectories. Example: MyFile.LHA - v1.04 - wuarchive.wustl.edu - [EXE:DOC:SRC/C] MyFile is the name of the file and it is an LHA style archive. The current version of the file is v1.04 and it was downloaded from wuarchive.wustl.edu (which is an @{B}InterNet anonymous FTP@{UB} site). The file contains an executable program with documentation and source code in C. @endnode @node Viruses "A word about Viruses." As of @{U}ACCUG Amiga disk #125@{UU}, all club disks are @{B}UNINSTALLED@{UB} and @{B}DO NOT BOOT@{UB}, they @{B}MUST@{UB} be used from @{B}WorkBench@{UB}. If this disk boots then it is probably infected with a boot block virus. However, because of the proliferation of nonboot block viruses, Trojan horses, worms, and logic bombs, all material on this disk is presented @{B}AS IS@{UB}. I can not stress this enough "@{B}LET THE END-USER BEWARE!@{UB}" (That's @{B}YOU@{UB}.) Protect yourself and your valuable data, @{B}ALWAYS@{UB} use Write-Protects! For further protection against people who create and spread bogus software, I've begun to digitally "sign" the @{B}CRC@{UB} list (found in the s directory of each disk) with @{B}PGP@{UB} (current version v2.3a.2 can be found on @{U}ACCUG Amiga club disk #109@{UU}). While this procedure does not guarantee that the programs found on this disk are free of virii or trojans, it does guarantee that the programs found on this disk originally came from me and have not been subsequently tampered with. To prevent interference with the check @{B}CRC@{UB} script, I used a detached signature certificate. You @{B}MUST@{UB} have @{B}PGP@{UB} (v2.0+) and my @{B}PGP public key@{UB} to do this validity check. Please get my @{B}PGP public key@{UB} directly from me or directly from someone you trust. @endnode
