1. Introduction

    DigiZ is a clock and an alarm clock. But it has something different
from others : It can be opened on any screen whereas other clocks can only
be opened on the Workbench screen. 

    DigiZ has been created under WB1.2 (which do not know PUBLICSCREENs)
but has been finished under WB3.0. It can be run with any system between
them.

    NB: You use this program at your own risks...



2. DigiZ and its author

    DigiZ, its files, and its icons are © 1994 by Mikaël ZAJAC. They are
freeware. They may be freely distributed, as long as no more than a nominal
fee is charged to cover time and copying costs. You can't modify them.
Commercial usage is not permitted without written permission from the
author. It can be included in magazines as long as I be sent a free issue,
without any charge.

DigiZ can be used from WB1.2 to WB3.0.

3. The Requester

	When DigiZ is running, click once with the left mouse button on its
window to activate it, and double-click with the right one to make the
requester appear.

You can :

	- Set the alarm clock,
	- Activate the alarm bell
	- Activate or disactivate the "seconds" mode. 
	- Set the alarm message
	- Make the clock jump on an other screen with the [Change Screen]
	  Gadget.
	- Disactivate DigiZ during few seconds to allow an other program to
	  load and close the Workbench Screen. (Gadget [Disappear]). The
	  default delay of disapperance is 15 seconds, but it can be set with
	  the options.



4. Starting options

	DigiZ is run as a background task. You can use it from the shell or
from the workbench. It can be installed in the file s:startup-sequence (or
s:user-startup) or in the directory WBStartup.

	Some programs, when started, close the Workbench Screen. But they
can't do it if DigiZ is on it. You can delay the appearance of it by
setting the options. In this way DigiZ appear on the screen of your program
after it has been loaded. You can also set the delay. (The default one is 15 seconds). You can notice that this delay is the same used by the [Disappear] Gadget.


	4.a. Options from the Shell

-sec			Activates the "seconds" mode.
-on			Turns on the alarm clock.
-h[hh]:[mm]:[ss]	Sets the alarm clock (in "seconds" mode).
-h[hh]:[mm]		Sets the alarm clock (in "minutes" mode).
-@			Inhibits the welcome message.
-win			Makes the window appear when starting.
-m[message]		Sets the message of the alarm clock. (You can use
			several spaces by typing the whole option between
			quotes)
-d[n]			Sets the delay for a delayed run (in seconds).
-w			Activates the delayed run.                  

example: DigiZ -sec -on -h15:00:10 -w "-mHello World !!!"


	4.b. Options from the Workbench

	To set this options, click on DigiZ's icon and select "information"
int the Workbench menu, and modify then "Tool Types".

The available options are :

    - DONOTWAIT		  If you want to put DigiZ in the WBStartup's
			  directory.
    - MODE=SEC		  Activate the "seconds" mode.
    - HOUR=[hh]:[mm]:[ss] Sets the alarm clock (in "seconds" mode).
    - HOUR=[hh]:[mm]	  Sets the alarm clock (in "minutes" mode).
    - WINDOW=YES	  Makes the window appear when starting.
    - MSG=[message]	  Sets the message of the alarm clock. (You can use
			  several spaces by typing the whole option between
			  quotes)
    - ALARM=ON		  Turns on the alarm clock.
    - DELAY=[n]		  Sets the delay for a delayed run (in seconds).
    - WAIT=YES		  Activates the delayed run.



5. Warning and Advice"

	5.a Warning : 

	DigiZ can be run on screens that do not belong to it : before closing
the program that created it, you MUST close DigiZ or make it jump on an
other screen. If not, you will have a beautiful GURU !


	5.b Advice : 

	Always place DigiZ on the title bar of a screen or window in order to
not interfere with the drawings of the host program.


	NB: You use DigiZ at your own risks...
	


6. What's new ?
	
	- DigiZ does not make a guru appear any more when a program closes the Workbench and only one screen remains opened.

	- Management of screens improved : DigiZ puts its screen back to all others before jumping on an other screen.
